Then how on earth is it possible to have an RN program online? There are more clinicals required and more in-depth classes. I would think the opposite would be true. Online LPN not RN or BSN....
Actually, there are more clinical hours involved in an LPN program. The Lpn graduates with 700-900 clinical hours where the RN graduates with 400-500 clinical hours. Atleast that is true in my state. The online RN classes are based on the knowledge that you have already completed enough clinical hours and you are building on your base knowledge and most verify that you are working in that field so they assume you are learning more clinical skills. Also, most LPN to RN online bridges do require a clinical comptency check off. Hope that helps...
