I am currently working full time as a lpn and also in rn transition. My issue is finding time to study and do these care map successfully. My grades continue to decline. I have a boyfriend that is very helpful and no kids but i can't seem to get it together. I study daily over the PP and reading the book. This isn't working for me. Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to deal with the stress of "passing" a test or any time management. Other students in my class with children only read over the PP maybe twice and listen to lecture in class and do fine on the tests! Should i consider meds to help me deal? What seemed to work for you all? Anything will be helpful! PLZ!

I am currently an LPN that is in RN school. I started last June and have been going since then. I will be done in May, but as far as stress relievers...its junk food. I make flashcards out of everything from handouts to power points. I study those a little bit everyday until the day of the test. It helps me....but right now I think my brain is on strike.
Good Luck....its not easy at all!

More than one person has talked about the benefits of flashcards. Portable, take them with your everywhere. Five minutes here and five minutes there and you have learned another fact or test question. And don't discount the advantage of taking the time to write them out. Cheap too if you get your index cards in bulk or on sale.
I did that in LPN school especially during pharm! lol Thanks tho!
