Excelsior College offers a distance-based LPN-to-ASN program that results in RN licensure after passing NCLEX. It is reputable and accepted by the PA Board of Nursing.

Hello I'm enrolled in excelsior college. I just past transition to professional nurse role today. It's a pretty easy way to get ur Rn if ur self motivated & can learn on ur own.

Are you doing the test out option or the actual 12 week courses?
I am a single parent of 2 and thought about the traditional route but I can't offers to cut back my hours.
Yes I have tested out of 10 classes so far & took the required information literacy class online. I'm currently studying for foundations of nursing and health safety exams.... Then I will try to knock out the remaining 4 in January. It's very doable if u stay focused. It is challenging though, I have to small children as well a 4yr & 3month old. I decided to finish school while I'm still on leave from maternity.
Thanx I did an accelerated LpN program and can't afford those sacrifices anymore.... I'm going to start my process now!!

Good day
I have just registered with DLSI to start my Lpn to rn study and this is really done through excelsior but I worked six days on 12 hour shifts and I know I will need some help and constant reminder so I chose to go through with them. Is there anyone you know that had done this program or is presently doing it I would greatly appreciated if we could talk and see how it works and if you would like a study partner you'll be very welcome. My email address is [email protected] looking forward to continue reading the great work and experience of everyone
