Hoping to get some information.. Was accepted into the program and will start Sept 2016. Looking at the book list and it says faculty may not require books. Trying to start looking for the books and wondering if anyone has insight on if we really need all of these. Thanks in advance.

On the book list if it says required those are the books that you need. I just graduated from the program in San Antonio. You absolutely need to get the Med Surg book, Mental Health read it and keep them. Try and find people who have recently graduated to see if they are selling their books. Ebay has is a good place to try too. Sometimes the library has the books available for loan. As the academic success, liaison to introduce you to previous students perhaps they have books that you can borrow/buy. Check the school facebook page also. Good luck, this is a fast past/intense program. Try and take all of your Gen ED first and then concentrate on your nursing courses. You can do it!

I start in September at the St. Pete campus as well. But I have a few people at my job that attend there, and one nurse is going to sell me her books. Hopefully it will help cut down some of the cost. Well my name is Carmen so hopefully I'll see you there soon. Are you doing the hybrid or on campus?

Carmen I am doing the online courses. I will be in house for the Lab the first quarter. I will look for you.
