Concordia lvn to rn 30 unit option

Nursing Students LPN-RN

Has anyone done this or have info about the program? like schedule, program length and tuition? I'm aware that the 30 unit option is non degree and only valid in ca. I've been an lvn for 6 years and would just like to take the quickest route to get my rn. I have no plans to leave the state and my work will hire me as an rn without a degree. I have anatomy and physiology done and am taking micro in the spring. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm wondering about their 30 unit program as well. I wrote to the admissions coordinator of that dept but haven't heard back yet. Were you able to find any info since posting this?

Thanks for your email. We are looking to have a traditional BSN program in the next couple of years and that might be a good option for you as the LVN program depends on how many qualified applicants (we need at least 8) we receive before we even think about opening up that program. To my best knowledge, we have never had a group of LVN students for the 30 unit option, however, it might be better to wait until we do roll out something more like a traditional four-year program.

That's what I got from admissions. No info on whether or not the traditional 4 year program will have a bridge 🙁

Wow I'm shocked! So why do

they even have this listed in their nursing curriculum. As much as I would love to go straight to BSN not sure if I want the 100k (or more) price tag that comes with it :( and I'm certainly not going to wait them out to see if they ever get an ADN program. thanks for the update :)

Sclvn23, I also want to take thi route. I have to wait til after Memorial Day to contact them. I really want to get started.

Usually they are required to offer it, even if they don't do it. That's how it works in my state anyway. Its a joke.
