Hi everyone! I applied to the ncc nursing program through the lpn to RN pathway and starting nursing 100. Anyone know who did this program if its doable to work full time and take this class/rest of the program? I will be starting in Spring 2018

Was the case study difficult? Did you use any books for the case study? What books did you use for the LPN to RN entrance?

It’s not doable so work only on weekends.

You have to work only weekends because they give you a lot of work to do. But your test grades must be in the 80s to pass

I know this is post is a few years back but I was wondering if you could share your experience ? Did you take this course by itself or did you have to take other classes along with it ?

The OP hasn't visited since originally posting. And the other poster hasn't posted since 5/2019.

So I am still in the program and I know it’s crazy but life happens. To answer your question I will say it’s really hard with all the things they ask you to do. So I only work weekends and when I have an exam I only work Saturday and Sunday

Take all your prerequisites before taking these nursing courses that’s will help you a lot please.

Thank you so much for your response. It is deeply appreciated. I’m trying to see if I can take A&P2 this Summer but unfortunately it seems it’s all booked. I’m in the process of registering for NUR100 for this fall 2021. Wishing you the very best ! Keep pushing, you’re one step closer to the finish line !!

So I have a question. Let's say you join ncc for the nursing program as a lpn . But you don't want the bachelor and just want to do it when you can take the RN NCLEX. At what semester year are you dropped into. (Third, forth ext?)

So I am all done and working as an RN it was a great program they all helped me pass the teachers that is.  No you don't have to retake NCLEX you just have to get into a RN to BSN program.
