Hi all,
I just applied to the Lorain Community College's LPN - RN access program at the Medina County University Center:yeah:. I hope I get in, but won't recieve my letter until March ! Just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone out there has any advice or comments about the program. I completed my LPN at Cuyahoga Community College, but wanted to go to school closer to home. ANY input about the program would be great! I heard they only take 24 students so my fingers are crossed that I am one of the lucky ones.

Can't really say anything about the program other than there are a few threads around here about people who have been on the "waitlist" for years. That may be for the straight to RN program though.
Most of the threads are about straight RN. The people at lorain said they weren't filled up for Fall 11' when I talked to them in November. It took time to get all my stuff transfered from tri-c so I didn't get to apply till December 13th. I just hope they didn't get 24 applicants between then. Did you go to the Medina University for Lorain?
No, I graduated with a BSEd from Ohio State in 01, I'm currently attending Tri-C and will be starting clinicals in January.
I'm in I start Fall 2011!! Anyone else?
Guess not I met with the school last week. I am quite happy first semester is 1 day, second semester is 2 days for 8 weeks (then the rest online), summer is online, third semester is 2 days, and so is the fourth. NOT TO BAD !!!! Only problem is their are only 5 applicants and they can not have all of the class in Medina unless there are 8 I believe. Some of my classes may be at Lorain's main campus.
