LPN~RN Bridge Program

Published

Is their anyone out there that knows anything about the LPN~RN Bridge for Sinclair in Dayton or Clark State in Springfield ! Having a really difficult time choosing between the two! Received my acceptance letter for both and need to choose.

I am starting the Sinclair pre reqs for the bridge program in the fall. It's a 2.5 year wait for the actual LPN to RN program but you can get on the list once you do chem and bio then you can finish the others while you wait. You are not required to stay enrolled while you wait that's why I chose Sinclair over all the other community colleges

Thank you ! For the info, I quess every school has an unrealistic waiting list :(

Yes the wait lists are wrong but trust me its better to wait and get a real education for a reasonable price than go to fortis or Galen. I checked those schools as well and some of their clinical site were questionable (ex. You go to an elementary for your peds rotation) and for what they charge (30,000 plus) I would expect better sites. Sinclair has this academic advancement thing. Basically if you score all a's and b's and pass selected classes on the first try you can be fast tracked on the wait list.

I Hippy , I went to see an academic advisor today to give my scores for the TEASV. And she said : from the time that you take the TEASV and pass its about a 1 year wait from their. But in order to take the TEAS you have to have certain prerequisites completed ! Thanks for your info !

Well that's good news! I have a ton of pre reqs to take so I am sure it will still take me two years lol! I am actually going there Tuesday evening for my first academic advising appointment.

Hi! I go Friday for my academic advising appt to fast track lpn to rn! I can't wait to start my ore Reqs. I did my fasfa and sent my school records all ready. Anything else important I should do? And is anyone taking English or math online?

I took both online ! And did pretty well, I had ------- for Mat1130 and she was awesome sauce ! Took English a couple years ago online  Good Luck !

Thanks! I a, hoping I can do English and math online! I also seen you can take com and psych online. That would be good! :)
