I Hippy , I went to see an academic advisor today to give my scores for the TEASV. And she said : from the time that you take the TEASV and pass its about a 1 year wait from their. But in order to take the TEAS you have to have certain prerequisites completed ! Thanks for your info !

Stagnate LPN ! / LPN School A Waste Of Time !
I feel as if I have wasted my time and effort and lost soo much sleep going to school to get my LPN ! I have filled out 30+ applications for employment and not even a call back. I have always wanted to be a nurse and help others, but this is crazy. Classmates have found employment, and I have taken and passed the NCLEX before them. Oh well quess I will just wait to start my ADN program and hope it will get better once I am an RN. But I am defeated unfortunately I will never work as an LPN !

- New LPN in Ohio
Ty Ajreel ! I have only put in applications in long term facilities, because I know that is where I'm most likely to get hired. But no one called back and I don't want to continuously call and seem like a pest . I have even applies almost 1 hour away from my home to give myself a better advantage .- New LPN in Ohio
Please tell me if I am loosing my mind ! I started taking prerequisite at the local community college to start the ADN program, I took me 2 years to complete them and I was very elated when I was done. U finally could get on the waiting list but it was a 5 year wait " OMG " was my first thought. But the LPN_RN bridge waiting list was much shorter. So I decided to enroll in an 18 month LPN program and once I got my license to enroll for the colleges Bridge. Now I'm on the waiting list and was sent a letter stating that I meant all requirements and an do to start the program for fall of 2014 ! Was I happy , but decided to work as an LPN until then. I just can't find a job and it is very discouraging, I'm not a quitter by far but I don't think I'll ever work as an LPN. I have filled out over. 20 applications and have a great work history. I'm not sure if no one is calling because I have never been an aide or what ! I'm just frustrated and don't know what to do. Has anyone else had this issue ? - New LPN in Ohio
