Lpn refresher course in georgia

Nurses LPN/LVN

Updated:   Published

Hello I am a new grad LPN currently licensed in Indiana, but residing in Georgia. I've applied for licensure by endorsement, and after a month in a half of processing my application, and telling me I couldn't get licensed because I didn't meet the clock hour requirements for Georgia, the board members have finally decided to allow me to take a LPN refresher course. Great! I can finally get licensed. The only problem is, I can't find anyone that offers them here in Ga. Can anyone help me or give advice on this? Please and thank you.

Do u have Facebook ...add me [email protected]. Cause I may be doing this course along with you lol

ok... i'm probably talking out of my butt here....

If you're having problems getting licensed in GA, then maybe try getting licensed in one of the surrounding states by GA? I think if you can get a license transfer in one state somewhere in one of those "compacts" or w/e they call them, you will then automatically be licensed in the surrounding states as well.

However, just grabbing in the dark here.

As far as refresher courses... out of my league.

I did this..i got a license in Alabama but who wants that commute...i drove to this 1 nursing home 4 times during my hiring process which i thought after offering me the job then take it away smh waste of time and my gas

I have my license in Alabama too...

Are u commuting ?

No I was when I lived up there near Atlanta ...now I live in savannah. I was working in Birmingham and my schedule was 7 days on and 7 days off. I would stay there for a week. Now I live too far...but I am close to sc and fl...I'm just going to apply in sc next month...they don't require half the stuff ga does. I want to work in Hilton head...

Cool good luck only Alabama is 1:10 away

It was further than that for me...but I was considering moving to rockmart which is not that far at all from the al state line...
