Hey there,

I'm in the F/T LPN program there now. I took the NET w/out studying and did OK but I know others that had to take it multiple times because of the math. The math is fractions, decimals, %'s and a tiny bit of algebra and the english is comprehension and sentence structure.

I hear that a GED study guide will get you in the right direction but I don't know that first hand.

I don't think there's a time limit but I'm sure when you call to sign up for the test you can confirm it.

Oh and as far as when to take it. You have to take it before you can apply to the program. The passing results are good for 1 year. And it's open enrollment, as long as there are spots up until the program begins.

Good Luck.

Hi MAnursehopeful,

Thanks so much for responding. Congrats on getting into the lpn program. How do you like the program? I here it's pretty intense but worth it. Are you working while going to school? Just think in a few more months you'll be all done. Are you going to work in a LTC facility when you graduate? I work in a local nursing home as a CNA, and have been an aide off and on for over 13 yrs. My back is getting to old for all the heavy lifting that is required. So it's time to further my education and give my poor back a break. LOL I have a lot of pre entrance gitters as it's been too long being out of school. But I gotta bite the bullet, study and get myself scheduled to take the test. Thanks for all the info. and if you want to share more please do so. Hope to hear from you again soon.

KERMMIE:rolleyes:
