-Western area Career Tech

-UPMC St. Margaret

I just got accepted to PTI's program but I won't start till July. I'll be the second class ever so all I can say is the program is very new. As for St. Margaret's...I work with 5 lpns at a LTC facility and all five have said this: St. Margaret's is great in terms of gaining college credit to bridge over to RN, but they felt kind of overwhelmed and slightly underprepared when actually working on the floor. But apparently St. Margaret's RN program is fab so why the difference? You got me but there you go. That's there opinion though so, I'd say visit them all and see what program is best for you.

I am starting in the LPN program in April at St. Margaret. I had actually begun the RN program at BC3 but was not happy with their program and felt I wanted more experience. I have not been able to find much info on their LPN program other than what I have read on their website but I am very excited about starting...
