LPN program at Orlando Voc. Tech.

Hi everyone,

Fairly new to Orlando. Took all the pre-reqs. needed for the RN program at Valencia Com.College in Orlando. The wait is quite long. I am also a care-giver for my dad, so I'd like to do the LPN program and then transfer to the RN program. My question is, would I have to start all over with my pre-reqs. or start at a particular point? If anyone has done this please let me know. Thanks.:confused:

Hi Trinity- Live near Orlando and sid pre reqs at SCC. for the RN/BSN program. There is usually a bridge from LPN to RN where you usually have a year completion program. Make sure you can transfer your credits from Orlando vo-tech to another institution. I'm not sure how their accreditation works. incidentally, SCC offers an RN program twice a year and UCF has 3 different campus' for BSN. I start the BSN at their Daytona campus in January. Thanks, I know about those programs and would be willing to apply but I am a caregiver for my dad, work full-time and the LPN-RN is a good speed for me. I will call Votech and see if they are accredited or not. Thanks for replying and good luck!
