lpn program at everest in Southfield, mi

Published

I am wondering if there is anyone out there who is currently or previously attended the lpn program at everest institute in southfield, MI. I am currently in the admissions process, I take the exams next week and getting all of my required information together. I am a little nervous that I will not get accepted. Does anyone know how competative it is to get into the program and how many applicants there are??? I really want to do this, but am a little nervous. Also, how does the financial process work. I will not be eligable for any financial aid, just probably student loans. If anyone has ANY info for me that would be great :D. As much info as possible PLEASE! I am stressed that I will not get accepted. Emails are ok too.

I'm trying to write my essay, and can't even find out what is actually required for it. My advisor keeps leaving other peoples messages on my answering machine. So it's worth it right?

Hhahahahahaha!!! Only at Everest.

Considering I was on 3 waitlists at 3 different LPN programs, and at the end I WILL have my license (in 11 months)--- yes, it's definitely worth it. The nursing job market is going to get more and more competitive, so I think the sooner we get things moving, the better!! I want to do an LPN-RN bridge program ASAP as well.

Haha, yes it's worth it. Expect to be frustrated, expect to teach yourself a lot of the material in your first semester (especially because there is SO MUCH to learn in such little time). I expected something completely different which may be why I had a hard time... but lately I'm LOVING it!

how was the psb test? Was it easy/ m/c??? I just recently passed my compass for everest a few days ago .. I bought the books mrs. LArkens told me to but I dont remember what else she said to study besides natural science.. do I have to teach myself alll sciences?? I was shock that only 7 people were in my group to take the compass and only 2 to take the psb.. was ur session crowded?? Can u re-take the psb?

Is there any current post on everest? Everything is outdated......:confused::confused:

Anyone CURRENTLY attending Everest????

I am currently studying for my GED but want to get started in the nursing program at the Southfield location, can i start without my GED(while studying for it)? I got into the dearborn campus for MA as i was preparing for it back in 2009 but failed 3 parts of it so thats what im studying for now, those 3 parts.
