Nursing is an excellent career choice. You need to retake 4 nursing prereq classes. I suggest you do this gradually. Take 2 classes at a time and no more, as it sounds like you have a lot on your plate. When applying to nursing school, only apply to programs that offer a part-time option.
Good luck.

Hello nurses and nursing students,
I need some insight I have the opportunity to go back to nursing school. The first time I attempted to finish school I was a brand new single mom trying to take on the RN program. At the time my son was 2 he is now 11 and now can tend to himself a little better. My only concern is that I have to retake some of my classes to get back into program. I just found out that I have to take 12 credit hours which will consist of psych 203, bio 210 bio 211 and medical terminology. I really really want this because my dream is to be a nurse I haven't felt happy with my career life because I never finished. At this moment I still have no help it's just me and my son. Although he is old enough to be independent enough and he understands that I need time to study I still have to be there for him and take care of us. I really need some insight on how to take 4 classes, juggling being a mom, and also providing for us. I need to make sure our bills are paid but I also really just want to focus on school. I HAVE NO family near so this is not an option. Luckily all of my classes can be taken online and most of the nursing program classes are online so I'm very excited about that part so I don't have to be confined to a class schedule. I need to make atleast $2000 a month just to make sure we are good and that's just the bare minimum. Can someone help me figure out how to get through all these classes I really need to focus on the classes, juggle being a mom and also make sure our bills are paid. Thank you so much 😊 also I would like to make sure my mental health is intact so I like to go to the gym as a get away before I start my day. Can someone maybe give me an idea schedule or some tips to get through this. I'm a visual learner so 4 classes seem like a lot of classes and ALOT of reading. Is there a way to shorten study time for a bunch of information.
