I'm a LPN from MA. I've been working for 5 years and I want to travel so bad not sure as to what travel agency to pick so I do not get ripped off and to able to travel to fun and awesome places. an agency that pays for everything included housing insurance travel and the most common things. is there anybody who would be able to recommend a traveling nurse company for an LPN with good benefits and pay and good places to travel? your help and response is worth more than you know! Thanks for your time

You are best off with the really large agencies such as Cross Country, American Mobile, and RN Network.

Just be careful who you work for. Some companies will low ball you in compensation! The last company I worked with sent me to WV(this was my first travel assignment), the cost of living is high there. The facility they sent me to was so understaffed, they had nursing assistants and there nurses working doubles because they didn't have the staff to cover the shifts. When I got there, three of their nurses quit because it was too much to deal with!! They literally had no staff left!! They would call me on my off day and asked me to work, I just got finished working 4 days straight and this was every week!!! Nurse to patient ratio was 1:34. There were so many patient needs, I could barely function. Most days, I would have to be CNA and LPN. It was so mentally and physically stressful. Just make sure you ask questions and do your research. Good luck

Accepting a low ball offer is simply impossible if you shop around.
