I have completed 2 years of nursing program, but i did not graduated due to not passing one course on the last semester of the program. Does anyone know any LPN school in Georgia that can transfer some of my nursing credits. I tried Deklb Tech, but they did not give me any credits for my nursing courses. Please someone help me with this.

first of all the program is wonderful! not including your core classes the program once you get in.. is about 12months. me its taking me 16months to finish my lpn program because like i shared with you before i had to start all over again i had to take 6months to do my pre-regs to get into the program and then i had to wait after i put in my data sheet(like an application to get into progam) then i had to wait for my acceptance letter). after you get into the program you get fitted for your nursing uniforms(you have to wear them at all time while you're on campus) and then start going into nursing fundamentals and drug calculations.

im sorry im just going on and on because i like the school and the program! pls don't hesitate to jump on in somewhere because the longer you take the harder it will become for you to get started. pls don't listen to the past i believe you are going to be a good nurse. here we are small but we stick together like it should be no one should be left behind if they want it bad enough.

Hi smiley I wanted to let you know I am in the same boat... I completed almost 2 whole years at Georgia Perimeter, and six weeks before graduation they kicked me out for an issue I had during clinicals... It truly broke my heart, and the circumstances were very strange, but that's what they decided for me.... But I will not give up, because in my soul I know my calling is in nursing. So, you have a friend who is following the same journey as you. Don't give up! Keep your chin up, and believe your convictions that you will be a nurse - and a wonderful one at that! :) :)
