Going For It!

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Hello,

So here I am, 31 years old, just found out I will be laid off by the end of September. I had been considering becoming a nurse for a while, but I think that now is the time to do it. I take the NET test tomorrow at the new PN program in West Grove, PA. I'm so nervous! Not about the test - I usually do well on standardized tests. I'm nervous about getting into the program. I am a last minute applicant. School starts July 21. My employer has agreed to let me leave early so I can attend school. However, my application will not be complete until I do an FBI background check that could take a few weeks to get back. The spots could all be filled by then! Not to mention the financial risks I will be taking by not working FT for a year. Please just pray for me! I'm taking a leap of faith here! I know it will be worth it in the end!

Thanks for listening!

Good luck!! I am in a similar situation. I am taking the Teas exam on Monday to get into a LPN program. I am pretty excited, but nervous. We can do it We can do it!!!

Good luck on your test! The NET was pretty easy. The results should be back this week.
