hi everyone,

has anyone gone through transfering your license from out of state to PA?

(I'm going to transfer mine from florida to PA)

OR any information regarding the process explaining in detail would help...what to expect:

cost

wait time

other specific PA requirements for out-of-state license transfer

P.S. best places to start looking for work; hospitals or nursing homes

P.s.s. would they hiring me as a Medical assistant with my 1 yr exp as a LPN (without my license being transfered yet?? )

thanks in advance :nurse:

in philadelphia and pittsburgh area, scant lpn positions in hospitals. only work i see advertised is for nursing homes, assisted living facilities and rare doctors offices. check out advance for nurses to see what positions available.

Can you tell me how long it took you to get the Temporary Practice Permit for PA? I'm wondering because I just sent in my application, transcripts, and license verification.

Thank you!
