LPN at Kennedy Global School

Hi! I'm a nuby here:) I would like to know, if there are students like me or graduates of LPN at Kennedy Global School. I really wanted to hear more about this school and the experiences.

I have no idea what states accept Kennedy however, even if you have a license in another state through Kennedy, CA will not give you an endorsement. Ask Kennedy if they use to tell their students to apply in W VA and then apply to CA through endorsement even though they knew CA wouldn't accept it. Posters on here a year ago where posting that's what Kennedy told them to do. Whenever a school is not upfront with you (CA doesn't accept us) and tells you to go around the system, that definitely isn't a school I would trust. The problem was, Kennedy didn't know that CA verifies the education even if you apply through endorsement. Whoops on their scheme.

Funny do your home work. dont get stocked in CA .i am working with someone who is went to this same school and she is such a wonderful nurse and i know someone who is about to take the board. i wish her luck.

Just so u know different state treat LVN differently even though they studied here.

So you're saying that you 're paying a school to do your book work at home and then in two quarters you're going to another country just to be able to get your clinical hours..don't you worry that employers might not approve that school or except your diploma because that's a low profile school and you went to another country just to be able to get clinical hours and what about the board of nursing will they allow you to come back and sit for the nclex..it just sounds to strange for me but good luck and yes I would love to know the outcome of your experience with them

Only the dull ones wont pass study hard like there is no tomorrow as the instructor quetion if u dont study well you will run back home to the states like the guy who did time in my class.

putting my two cents this is for Kennedy School of practical nursing in ILOLO

if you live in california and plan to go to this school. do not i repeat "DO NOT" even consider it. we have about 30-40 students here from the school and none of us are working as an LPN. do you want to know why? it is becuase we are licensed in west virginia and not california. all the kennedy schools are the same, they are one big corporation of lies, CA board of nursing does not accept the school. period. they have tried to work around the fact that if you have a license in another state you can get reprocity in CA. they got greedy simple as that, they all went different directions and separated schools and now california has a hard time knowing which is legit and which is not since they are one corporation. they are now blacklisted in CA, its been 2 years now, do yourself a favor go to a community college where they offer LPN. better yet just do RN since it takes the same amount of time here in the united states. and the nerve of this school still taking students from california which they know that they cannot ever get a lpn license. the owner mr.**********should burn in hell for all the money he's taking from these good people who just wants to earn a living and provide for thier families, to send someone to pay $6500 plus airfare, food, etc is a big burden to those people in the us, trying to make a living.

HOPEFULLY THIS MESSAGE HELPS YOU!!!

I couldn't agree more with you. I did, however get my license in Florida but the thing I worry now is even if I have the license I don't think I would be able to do the bridge program for RN since all the schools would evaluate your TOR. There's been lot of rumors about Kennedy being blacklisted with some evaluation centers. Sometimes the people in the Philippines doesn't really know how hard life is in America. It's like they don't think on what position u are in so long as u r in america they think like your really rich..oh well i just hope for the best for those who are still on hold to pursue this nursing career.

yes they are blacklisted to most of the evaluating services and the fact that the schools dont accept them as a legitimate school here in california, makes it diffucult to move to the rn bridge program. right now i am undecided whether to continue or not. but if they will accept the tori will definetely take it up again if i can just take a few short courses to complete the lpn program.
