I'm wondering the same thing. I'm not a nurse yet still a student I have one pre req left (anatomy 2). But I don't want to be another 3 yrs in school and my GPA isn't high enough to get into a accelerated program so I'm considering a PN program at this point. LPNinMD you can check the archives on this site under LPNs in maryland or check the different hospital sites in MD and their job listings for nurses. Hope this helps a little.

Hey Everyone I'm new here and pretty new to Maryland just got my LPN License by Endorsement after a long and hard battle with the MBON!!! They cashed my checkand lost me application!!! Anyway I'm looking for a PRN job because I watch my son during the week while my husband is at work, and want to work some nights and weekends.
My main 2 questions are:
What hospitals still hire LPN's?
and
Which LTC/Assisted Living places are nice?
Any responses are GREATLY appreciated!!!
