LPN job avaliability in Houston TX

I am a LPN from another state. I was just wondering, are LPNs needed in TX?

Is there lot of jobs avaliable in Houston TX? Where do LPNs work in TX? In my state majority of LPNs work in a long term care facility

I am an LPN from Ok and from what I hear the jobs in Tx are better paying. We are one of the lowest paid states I think. The jobs in Tx are luring our young nurses from here.

Hi again! LVN's are used in various areas that I know of in the Houston area. There is usually a mixture of LVN and RN's on the medical-surgical floors of most area hospitals. Some of them also work in more of a tech mode in the emergency room settings. There is definetly work out there for LVN/LPN's here in Texas!
