Good day,

Im endorsing my license to CA .My original state was Florida. I was approved and now I pay online for my initial license so that i can get my license here in CA.how long would that take to receive your license? I know its hard to reach CABON due to high call volume.I just want to get started to work as a nurse already.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. You have been approved by the California board of nursing already? if you have been, then it will show up on their website and you can begin to apply for jobs. If you paid and are waiting to hear if they've ok'd you for work in California, be prepared to wait. Depending on the time of the year it can take several months. I transferred from North Carolina, where my scope of practice was huge compared to the scope allowed LVNs in California and it took them almost six months. Good luck!

I applied for endorsement in CA last year and was approved just had to send the $200. I decided not to move there but I did contact them and they said once I paid it should appear within 24hrs because everything was completed they just needed the licensing fee.
