Hi All....

Happy New Year! (early)

I went to a doctor's office today, and he said...did you hear about the need for LPN's in St. Louis, MO? They are offering $13,000.00 for 2-3 week assignments. Has anyone heard or know of anything about this? Although...this could be something that an inner city facility is offering for a reason........just wondering....one of those sounds too good to be true or else there is a BIG catch to it. Thanks.

I know nothing at all about LPNs or the St Louis area, but I'm inclined to follow the "if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is" philosophy. :)

I was about to say NO WAY. I mean, seriously, for a two week assignment (with 40 hour weeks) that's $162 roughly per hour. I highly doubt it, HOWEVER, there is a nursing strike going on at one of our big facilities, one of our only places with a major burn unit I might add. Maybe they are paying that kind of wage to "scabs". I doubt it, but maybe.
