It will vary from school to school, but I have found that the requirements (e.g., the pre-req's) are typically the same. The only difference is that LVN's and LPN's are given one year of credit for their previous education and experience, which means we enter in (and only have to finish) the second year. All of these programs require LPN/LVN licensure, and most also require LVN/LPN work experience. Since you have neither, I doubt you would qualify for this route.
If your previous school isn't able to readmit you or give you credit for what you have completed, maybe you could look into transferring/applying to another school. Have you spoken to a guidance counselor?

I'm trying to understand what courses an LPN has to take to be an RN. I used to be in RN school and was dismissed from the program half way through it. I was not given the opportunity to challenge the NCLEX-PN. I did not get to take Mental Health or Peds, which was in the third semester. Does LPNs have to take those courses in an LPN program? I'm basically wanting to know the LPN curriculum verses the RN.
