Hi I was wondering if anyone knew of any schools or classes in New York that I could take to start a career in becoming an LPN.

In what area are you looking to go to school? and are you looking to go to a vocational or college setting? because i also live in New York currently attending an LPN school.

Why is it so hard to find certification classes for LPNS? Additional certifications just give LPNs even more skills to perform their jobs. Why does everyone think additonal education should only be used to become an RN. With rising healthcare costs LPNs should be encouraged to obtain certifications and stay LPNs and work to their capabilities with the RNs to provide effective patient care. Does the ANA allow LPNs to take their med/surg certification classes?
