LPN or CMA???

I am trying to decide if I should go for my MA or my LPN?? I know I can get my Ma in less the 10 months and my LPN in about a year but the LPN school I was thinking about going cost a lot of money and I have been hearing mixed reviews about them... So now I don't know what to do. any advice would be great...

You will have more opportunities as an LPN, making the extra cost worth it.

Thanks..I know that its just a big choice and now I hear mixed reviews about LPN Program I was going to start.. Just hoping to hear something postive about the LPN program at MPI in Malden to help make my decion a little easier...

Most proprietary LPN programs leave something to be desired. Look for community college programs, or ROP programs for the better LPN education. Or develop the mind set that this program for all of its faults will get you to the point of taking the NCLEX-PN, and that is all that matters.

I looked at the CC and most of them have wait list and than most Tech schools you can only start once a year.. so thats why I was going to go with the program at this private school.. but like you said I guess the important thing is that I get the info I need to pass my NCLEX-PN.. Anyone out there gone to Medical Prof. Inst. in Malden and have anything good to say about it?

Theres more money in lpn
