Hello!
Does anyone have info regarding Marymount School of Practical Nurses?
What kind of job opportunities are available in the Cleveland area for LPN's?
Thank you for any input!

Im an LPN in Cleveland area. There does seem to be a lot of opportunities especially in long term care.Home care, offices, residential centers.Im sure there is some hospital positions too.I think you should look into CENTrAL SCHOOL OF PRACTICAL NURSING>instead of MARYMOUNT>It was an excellent education.Good luck
Thank you for the reply! It sounds like you attended Central School of Practical Nursing & enjoyed it... is there another reason you know of to consider CSPN instead of Marymount?
I think you should choose Central School of PN because of the intense variety of clinical, lab and lecture.WE went to inner city hospitals, nursing homes home care, was present for three surgeries, childbirth!geriatric, pediatric, various age groups.Learned a real lot and had some wonderful instructors.I know its a great program!Good luck!I felt perfectly prepared to work as a nurse after graduation
Wow - That sounds like a great education. I requested info to be sent to me & will probably visit the school next week. Do they offer IV therapy edu? I couldn't find anything about that on the web...
I had to take an IV therapy after graduation Central does have IV therapy certification.I dont know if now it is part of the curriculum now,but back when I was there,it was a separate optional ,class.Good luck!! I know Central is a great school! My neice is taking the entrance exam soon.Im excited for her.
Thank you sooo much! I most likely will be attending Central School of PN...for financial reasons I must wait until '08, but I feel much more comfortable now knowing it is such a great school. Good luck to your neice!

Hi, I don't know anything about the Marymount school, but I do know that there are LPN jobs available at the Cleveland Clinic. I currently work and I really like it.
LPN @ Cleveland Clinic? That's great. What's your specialty? Does Cleveland Clinic hire many LPN's? Is the pay competative? Are there many opportunities for learning?
