I'm a 32 year old female, LPN, from Virginia. I have an LPN diploma from a local community college, but have many college credits as well, and almost have an ADN degree. However, I am a busy mom and unable to go back to my local community college right now. I haven't worked much as an LPN to be a stay at home mom. I would have to work for a year as an LPN to be admitted to my local comm. college's LPN-RN bridge program, according to the nursing dept. rules there. I am unable to work or sit in class though where I am a stay at home mom.
Therefore, I am interested in the Indiana state online LPN-BSN program. I was just wondering has anyone from the states of VA., TN., or KY. done this program online? If so did you complete it & how easy was it to get a preceptor in your area? I have a friend who is an LPN who just started doing the program through the College network and said she likes it, which got me to thinking about doing it again. I had looked at the program once before, but was worried about cost & finding a preceptor is my area. Thanks!

The LPN-BS track is not available in TN. You can see what agencies are contracted at this time by searching at Indiana State University : College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services : Clinical Agency Information
