LPN to BSN at LaSalle

I'm wondering if anyone has gone through their program or has any info. If I bridge do I have to do all the required prereqs or just an entrance test?

The ACHIEVE program at LaSalle University (in Philadelphia I assume you are talking about) is not just an LPN bridge program, it is also for non nursing students. Yes, everyone is required to finish the prerequisite courses as well as take the NLN entrance exam.

Yes, you are required to take the required Pre-req's. Your LPN is also counted towards your credits as well.

I am a 2012 graduate of the program...A former LPN fir 7 years. I recommend the program to as many LPNs as possible. I say check with the school. I used excelsior for the sciences, and I took my pre-req's at CCP. I also had the option to test out of intro to nursing, nursing fundamentals, and health assessment. I ultimately went through the above courses because, at that time, I was out of nursing school for five years and wanted the most updated info for practice. Hey! I am looking into the LPN-BSN program. I only have a few prereq's from a community college years ago. I am enrolled in excelsior and trying to test out of a&p and micro. Do you know if I can take all the required prereq's through credit by examination with excelsior? I was also thinking of just doing all my prerequisites at la salle. That would be time consuming and expensive but it would probably be a good experience and good head start into the achieve program. Wanted to know your thoughts? I am trying to think positive about all this and get excited to get back into school but feeling a little discouraged at the same time. I would like to add i'm an LPN since 2010.

When I attended, it was LaSalle who suggested for me to go to Excelsior to test out of my A&P and micro.

If you have more than 30 credits, you are required to take pre-req's at LaSalle, which I needed to graduate.

I found it more bang for my buck to take as much pre-req's through Excelsior and CCP...I also had an Associates, so I went right into the Nursing classes.

Hi ladyfree im reading your post about Lasalle. Im a lpn looking to go back fory RN im trying to decide which route to go. Whats the cost of lasalle program?

I'm not sure about current tuition rates, but the tuition bill was 3500-5000 per semester.
