Lpn to bsn advice please!

I am working full time as an lpn and want to join a bridge program to earn my bsn degree. Is anybody in an lpn to bsn program? I was looking into indiana state university or university of phoenix. Which is better? And is the College Network a scam or not? I have heard both good and bad reviews about it. Does anybody know of any grants I can apply for also? I have so many student loans already and it would be great to lower the cost. If anybody has any feedback at all please help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

UofP is so expensive. That, in and of itself, turned me off. They were going to suck up my GI Bill, too.

I was, like, "I worked too hard and put up with a whole lotta crap for this...to what? Give it away to these guys?"

LVN to BSN. There are so many options. I want to do it fast...but I also want it cheap, too. LOL

I think I'm going to finish my pre-reqs for a year and do an LVN-BSN bridge at one of our state schools.

Texas has a few. It's 18 months.

I've been thinking about doing an ADN or (if these colleges are still behaving ridiculously) a vocational RN program... and a RN-BSN after ward. Thing is: the debt. I'm going to want to go APN, I know.

But...I'm not sure about homeownership, so I was thinking...if I don't buy a home?

I could sub the cost of a home with my education, maybe. It's a worthy investment.

were you allowed to do any of your pre-reqs online? I am applying to the UofP lpn to bsn in Tempe, AZ and they told me I have to do them on campus. All of them are available online! I live in CA and would rather not move to do a once a week class when I can do it online until I am in the nursing cohort.
