Hi.. I'm new in the forum.

I'm thinking to start a career in LPN. I live in Dutchess and I have the option to go to Boces.

Does anybody here go to Boces for LPN full time?

I didn't get any information yet and I want to visit this school.

Somebody can help me please.

Do you know how are the classes? How hard are they?

Did somebody take the reading test? I'm not American and my first language is Spanish. I would like to take advantage of my second language.

I will appreciate any information about it.

Thank you very much!!!!

Hi - I see your post is almost 2 years old. I went to Boces for my LPN full-time. I studied 3-4 hours every night. If part-time works better than that's fine too. The teachers I had were very good. The tests were very fair. Good luck!

hey people... don't forget to post information about dutchess boces.

i'm interested to hear about you experience there.

also anybody here did lpn (from boces) to rn (in another school, maybe dutchess community college.

how did you do it???

thanks!!!

hi - i graduated with my lpn from dutchess boces 3 years ago. i'm getting my rn thru excelsior college. i know people who are going thru the bridge program at dutchess cc right now. i loved dutchess boces - you'll be very prepared to get your rn if that's what you choose to do - otherwise being an lpn is great as well - many jobs available!!!!
