Loyola Hybrid ABSN Fall 2019

Hey everyone,

I recently got accepted into Loyola's Hybrid ABSN for Fall 2019. I just wanted to meet some of you who will be in the program or talk with those who are already in the program. Regardless if you're interested in the hybrid or traditional, comment below anyways! If you're already in the program, how is it so far?

Hey! Nice to meet you as well. I'm actually taking anatomy and physiology 1 and psychology right now. I will be taking organic chemistry and anatomy and physiology 2 in the summer. Hopefully all goes well so that I can start the program in the fall. How about you?

Currently taking Anatomy 2 and dev psych, will be taking org chem, history and microbio in the summer. Very doable but a lot of work. What was your previous degree?

Yeah I'm concerned too. I'm taking it at a community college and I need to get it done before August. The summer term is from late May to late June. It's too much for one month. I went to UIUC for animal science. What was yours?

My community college offers summer classes for 8 weeks, I'm completing History and Microbio within that time frame. For my Chemistry class, I'm doing it at portage online which was advised by my enrollment adviser. My undergrad degree is Healthcare management, I'm also a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Yeah mines short too. It's around 6 weeks. That's cool! You at least have a background in nursing. Are you from the area?

I live within 30 minutes from there. I was going to choose Maywood, but that's a bit further from me. I like the hybrid though because it's partially online. I can barely pay attention during a lecture. haha

Hi everyone,

I will be moving from California! I don't have a Facebook, but I may have to create one so I can see what the Facebook group is all about. Is anyone else coming from out of state? I am nervous about housing.
