Loyola ABSN Spring 2013

Hello-

Anyone else applied to Loyola's ABSN program for Spring 2013? Has anyone been accepted yet? Any current or former students that can shed some light on what is needed to get accepted (GPA, etc.)?

I already was accepted to Resurrection and Lewis' programs for the Spring, but am still waiting to hear from Loyola. Fingers crossed!

I applied but haven't heard anything yet. I was told I should hear something in "early October". I've been stalking the poor mailman every day.

I heard that last year people heard back around 10/18-10/22. Maybe we'll hear something next week!

Talked to the admissions office today and they said they just began reviewing applications this week. We won't know anything for another 4-6 weeks, they said hopefully before Thanksgiving. I guess the waiting game continues...

That's frustrating! There will be a lot to figure out between thanksgiving and January (financial aid, child care, etc.) if I end up being accepted. I thought it was rolling...you'd think people could start finding out sooner.

I know, I thought the same thing. It is going to be a stressful December! I'm hoping they were being conservative with the decision timeline so as to avoid over-promising or repeated phone calls checking on the status. I was thinking it would be any day now. Now I'm not going to start holding my breath until it gets closer to Thanksgiving.

I just heard back from Loyola this past weekend (Saturday) for Spring 2013. I should have been one of the first ones (as the application had actually been deferred from last spring). But, I assume that since they've started more notices will be coming out shortly.

I had put an email into Loyola a couple weeks ago asking about when applications would be reviewed. I finally got an email back from my admissions counselor (the person listed on my online app) saying that she expected my application back this week. I live in the area, so hopefully I'll hear soon!

I started my application in May, but all of my transcripts and everything weren't there until The end of July I believe it was.
