First off, I just want to said, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!! I wanted to write this so other students can have a sense of relieved that they CAN PASSED the NCLEX.
I totally understand the nerve racking feeling when studying for the NCLEX and the day of when taking it. I graduated in May 2016 but didn't take the NCLEX until Sept simply because I was confused how to study for the test and there were no opening until the very beginning fo Sept.
Kaplan - I was recommended Kaplan from a friend. My school offer ATI, which was helpful during the school year, however when it comes to NCLEX, it was just confusing. I took Kaplan in beginning of June and used all 3 months course that they offered.
For those who is taking Kaplan and has low scores for all their trainers, its okay! Do not feel down just because of your scores. I had all low score from all the trainer. Sadly my Kaplan course ended so I could not post my score. All I can said is, I did not reach any 60% for any of it.
** One thing good about Kaplan is, the questions are very similar to NCLEX. The way it word helps you think when taking NCLEX. Definitely read all the rational, the right and wrong. Whatever topic you did not understand, look it up. I used Saunders Book and google. Other material I used was the Mastery RN Apps. The apps is useful when it comes to explaining. It is very details in it rationals. I usually questions before bed just to help relieve a little anxiety. Also, PINTEREST Apps helped me a lot! Pinterest had a lot of nursing topic such as disease signs and symptoms with easy remember pictures, labs value, fluid&elelctrial imbalance, ect. Before bed, I would look at pinterest and it is a easy learning tool.
NCLEX - I took my test at 2 PM and I had all 265 questions. I went all straight through without any breaks just because I prefer to finish it through at once. I remembered when I got to question 75 then questions 76, I kept thinking to myself, okay I can still do this and I had not yet fail. I had a lot of priority questions, delegation, and precaution. When I got to my last questions, 265, I then thought I fail. I only had 10 mins left in the test. I drove home and cried a little bit on the phone with my mom. I drove to my friend house, whose is a nurse to talk to her a bit. Although I did read from other that 265 does not mean you fail, but coming out of that test center just make me feel horrible knowing that I did all 265 questions.
PVT - When I got to my friend house, she saw how miserable I am, she decided to do the Pearson trick. She did the trick after 3-5 hrs I finished the test. Her sis took the NCLEX 5 times and whenever she takes it, my friend would be the one who would do the trick for her. All the times that she did the trick for her Sis, it was 100% true all the time. So when she did it for me, it indicated that I fail. I balls my eyes out and heart broken. I thought I was a total failure. Since the trick indicated that I fail, I did not bother to paid to get my quick result because I thought, if I already know I fail, why bother.
Result - 1 week after my test, I got a email saying, congraduation you recieve your license today. I thought to myself, wait why would I recieve my license if I fail. So I went to my State Board and seach for my name, and on there it stated I am license as Register Nurse. I also then paid for my quick result for reassuring. I guess my friend did the trick way to early, which is why it indicated I fail. So wait for 24 hrs after the test to do it, if you want or just pay for the quick result for that reassuring feeling.
Conclusion - Guys, even with a low score on Kaplan, 265 questions on NCLEX, and Pearson trick fail, DOES NOT MEAN YOU FAIL! Just be positive in yourself and believe that you can do this. Yes, it is hard to have that thinking but remember, you worked your butt off in nursing school with the late night study, tears, and coffee...YOU CAN DO IT! and all will pay off in the end. I have to said, this website had help me stay sane for the past 3 days before my test. I was sick before my test and my brain was not function. Thinking that I was going to fail due to my low kaplan score, I went on this website to read other posts and it did help me feel relieve. I also study the day before my test because since I was sick, I was so worry that I did not know anything. REMEMBER: you know more than you think. So I want to give back to though who is going through what I went through 3 weeks ago. Just breath and remember, YOU ARE A NURSE!!
** Also, I dont know if this help or not. I am a Buddhist so I went to temple the day before and pray to Buddha. I also pray to my ancestors. These praying gave me a sense of hope and confort that someone is watching over me and guide me.
GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHO TAKING THE NCLEX!!!!!

That's great! I've heard for the PVT trick when it won't let you log back in that's a definite pass, but if it lets you reschedule it doesn't automatically mean you failed. It's like a 50/50 shot. So happy for you!!!!
