Louisiana State University (LSU) CARE ABSN 2025

Hey guys, I am planning on applying for the fall of 2025. I just wanted to start this chat to meet other applicants or previous cohorts!

I won't be finished with my pre-reqs until the 1st week of December and the application deadline is January 15th, should I just go ahead and apply or wait until my classes are complete? I've heard that applicants that apply "later" aren't considered, because spots fill up, IDK how true that is though. Did I wait too late? Should I take my chances and apply still or should wait until next year? I'm super nervous about this!!  please any advice is appreciated! And good luck to everyone applying for 2025!! 🙂

I got the email to interview yesterday! I haven't scheduled it yet, but they say that email will be sent out in a couple of weeks!

hey I got my interview email on Yesterday I'll probably do it by Friday. I know I have 5 days to complete it. application process was smooth I'm super nervous tho

I got the email that my application moved to the next stage to interview but nothing else 😕 was there a link you had to click?

No I received my email that my app was moved to the next step on 1/8/25 and I received the email to interview on Tuesday so they was sent about a week apart

ohh okay, I got my email on the 8th too so hopefully the 2nd comes in a few days. and goodluck with your interview I heard it isn't too bad!

anyone know what the timeline looks like regarding next steps/acceptances? it seems like in the past years, after the online interview, there is a proctored online essay? are they doing the proctored essay this year as well?
