Anyone applying to Los Angeles Valley College Nursing program for Fall 2017??? Lets keep eachother updated (:
Yeah some people might change their mind a few days before school. I got rejected by harbor, 22 on the waiting list at pierce so Lavc is my last hope for fall but I should be grateful as I'm on the lattc waiting list and should start spring 2018. I highly recommend that if you don't get into any school to apply over there. It s first come first served so you 'll not be rejected. The waiting list is 2 semesters. I applied in November.
Dha_18 , once you register for the class you will have access to canvas and you will be able to download the syllabus, there really isn't a schedule it is a self paced course so you work at your own paced however there is a few workshops that will be offered but I don't have those dates yet.
I don't live exactly close I'm a hour a way I live in Palmdale so it's nice that it isn't a typical summer course were you have to go 4 days a week lol...
Curious for those accepted where are you guys coming from or donut live in the glen-valley area?
dha_18, from what I understand the skills lab is open and we can go as we please there isn't a specific schedule, as far as when the skills lab is open I have no clue. I was assuming that would be posted on Canvas but it isn't, so I will probably email the professor if nothing is posted by next week.
You live so close:) Nice:)

Let me explain how Lavc works. At the beginning of the week they picked their 40 students for fall. Some of them already sent their teas results so received the call on Monday and Tuesday, the others got asked to send their teas results and got the call the next day. I talked to the lady and she said a lot of them rejected the acceptance so she is now calling or asking the other students to send their teas teas. So if you got an email today asking to send your teas that means that you are selected and as soon as they receive your results they will call you to tell you that you are accepted. If you haven't heard from them (like me
) that Means that you are not selected and let's hope that more students will reject their acceptance. I'm trying to be hopeful but they already accepted a bunch of students and already calling the students that were on the waiting list
