Hi there! I just wanted to start this forum for any students who may have applied to Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) fall 2024 cohort.

Hey, 

So...they just called and told me they received my result and offered me the slot! I am so happy RN! My first wave of applications and I got in. I applied for ABSN at CSUN but they rejected me! Worked out fine though!

Has anyone received paperwork about the program? They told me they'd send it on Monday but I haven't received anything yet

I just called the office LOL they are working on it

Has anyone done their drug screen yet and have a place they recommend to get it done? I did one at my doctors office but they weren't able to test all the drugs that are required (missing meperidine/Demerol, MDMA/MDA/ecstasy, PCP, and propoxyphene). Any help would greatly be appreciated

Hi. I did mine at fastest labs of woodlandhills. They were so helpful.

Hey everyone! Just wondering if anyone else has gotten acceptance letters or even denial letters? I was told id know by end of June but now im hearing July 15th but then im also reading this thread and seeing people get accepted already so im really lost as to when ill see that email from them and if most of you guys are in the same boat as me.. Thanks!! 🙂

Also, they never asked me to send in my TEAS since I took it in February and sent it as soon as I got my scores.. im wondering if thats the reason why I never got an email asking for my scores. 

My TEAS score wasn't the best...I could not understand English.. it was my lowest score. I got a 74% overall but I have a 3.5 GPA and a CNA license. Im hoping you guys can share your scores with me(:!

I got accepted and am working on my requirements same as about 3-4 people on here. If I were you, call them tomorrow to ask. Good luck!

I have not heard anything from LAVC but it seems like they have already made selections. I got into LACC though so that's where I'll be going. I don't know it LACCD schools are sending denials letters because I never even got a denial letter for LAPC 🤷🏽‍♀️
