Hi everyone, 

I submitted my pre-nursing evaluation pretty early and just received it back from LAVC on 08/24/21. I hope to turn in my application during the first few days of September! Best of luck to everyone!

Hello I am planning on applying for LAVC as well. What is a pre nursing evaluation?

A pre-nursing evaluation is used to determine what classes you have taken. You fill it out in PDF then submit it so it can be reviewed and signed by a counselor. This pre-evaluation is also attached to your LAVC nursing application when the application opens on September 1st. Here is the website, it is step 2.

I just turned in my application on 09/01 and now the waiting game begins!

It is a word document. Make sure to save it as a PDF and upload your completed PDF application with your evaluation PDF. The evaluation needs to be signed by the counselor before you can submit your nursing application.

Hello,

How long does it usually take to get back the pre-nursing evaluation?

I have submitted mine about 2 weeks ago as soon as I got my grade for the Summer semester, but I have not received any comments yet.
