Specializes in TCU, Post-surgical, Infection Prevention.

Hello.

I applied for LASC RN program for Fall 2013, back in March (I believe). I took the TEAS V on the 9th.

Any other applicants out here? Anyone been accepted already?

Never mind... I JUST GOT ACCEPTED!

Thanks so much!

I think it is a competitive program. I am presently attending boot camp and it is a great course.

I didn't think it was easy to get in, I am probably in the lower end of gpa's in my cohort. I got in the 70's on my teas.

I wish you well. I can advise that you ensure you have a strong base in your physical sciences, biology and chemistry - make sure you know the concepts inside and out.

I am sooo greatful to God ~ I am thrilled that I've been offered the chance to fulfill a goal I began back in Fall 2009.

HELLO @anie10 how do you like southwest so far?

Do you mind sharing your experience at Southwest College so far? @anie10

Hi, have you entered a nursing program yet? I'm looking into changing careers to nursing and just trying to learn about as many nursing programs as possible.

I LOVE IT... (yes, I am shouting)

We wear blue to school, white to clinicals.

Right now i am in my second semester. I can't think of it all - but whatever you want to know specifically, ask me here...

Sorry for the delay - just been loving my life!

@anie10 i got accepted to LASC for spring 2014, i am having a hard time deciding whether or not i should go there. do you think you could share your overall experience there? how are the teachers? where are the clinical sites? how is the quality of the overall program? thanks!!

I think the teachers are great, all are master's prepared and most are Nurse Practioners.

I personally, liked one of the clinical sites, as it is at my job (I work in a hospital).

I can probably be more helpful if you ask a specific question. Additionally, since I am still in the program, I will not disparage my school or give negatives, as that would be education suicide...

Hello I have recently applied to the LASC Nursing program and wanted to know more about it. Can anyone share their overall experience so far? How are the instructors?
