Los angeles pierce college Rn program for fall 2017

Has anyone applied ? I'm taking the teas exam this friday i am so nervous !

today i got an invitation to take it at pierce.

cjprenurse you might have to call cause i do know they have already taken there TEAS so its just a matter of time before they start notifying us :) I actually had to call because i didnt receive that email either but when i called she said i should of received it and reassured me that i qualify and fixed my email address since apparently it was wrong

Just got my email today from COC and I did not get in :no: but it does not mention a remediation plan it just says to reapply.

Really? 2nd time? OMG!! Demetria30 I'm waiting for the other 3 schools which include Pierce, Valley and CONAH. Did you apply to other schools?

That sucks, I hope u get into one school. I will pray for u. I applied for transcript eval at COC and received email after 30 days hat I am missing one so reapply next semester. I have appointment at valley college on 27 th and the deadline is 28 th. I been coming close

Aww thank you so much Girl1984 yes COC is very strict. Yes go to Valley with a counselor and then go to apply right away that's what I did. Good luck!! Yes it's close but you'll be fine as long as is before the 28th :)

bellalovej yes i applied to lavalley, lapierce, lattc, glendale, and conah so i am really hoping that out of all of those one selects me....i know that for lattc im not in route to start till spring 2018 which is what the lady told me when i asked so if alls fales i will be starting there spring...COC is all about the points and although i have good grades i didnt do that hot on the teas so it was expected :(

Demetria30 Yes I did horrible on the teas :( but you applied to a lot of schools so you have more of a chance to get accepted. Fingers crossed and you start this Fall :)

A remediation plan is for those who didn't pass the teas exam .

My only hope right now is pcc because they actually accept my score.

But I already know I have to do remediation for the other schools :/

By the way what did you get on your teas exam if I may know?

Maybe coc looks at the score more than the grades ? Or what do you think ?
