Has anyone applied ? I'm taking the teas exam this friday i am so nervous !

today i got an invitation to take it at pierce.

I called and they said we should hear back from them around May.

You can call the counselors office and let them know you need your transcripts evaluated by a counselor for the nursing program and they will place you with someone that can do that. They'll give you appointment options. Make sure you do this as soon as possible because the deadline for the application is April 28.

i think most if not all community colleges are based on a lottery system. When you apply they explain the selection criteria on their website. For pierce college you need to make a cut score of 75 on the chancellor formula that they use. Once you make a cut score you are invited to take the teas and get a score of of 62 or higher to get into the lottery.

Hello Guys....

So I made the appointment for LA Valley so I can get my transcripts evaluated:) So next week I will get that done along with the application..

The wait is killing me, I really hope out of all the schools someone selects me...

Has anyone heard anything from any of the schools that you applied to?

Only updates I have is from Pierce which was only to let me know they received my application and I will be notified if selected and from COC telling me that if I am selected I will be notified! But Glendale nothing LA allied schol of nursing and LATTC nothing so hopefully I will get some emails letting me know something. SOON!!!

that was a like a month ago, you can call in verify that they have your email correct because for some reason I didn't get an email at first but after a friend told me she received one I called and they had inputted my email wrong so she let me know everything was fine and if I am selected I will get in email and my email is know correct:)

I didn't receive anything from Glendale, I actually just called them on my lunch break and the lady I spoke with informed me that emails were sent out but not all and I should call back tomorrow because the person that I need to check with wasn't in the office today.This email crap is nerve wrecking because if for whatever reason your email is inputted wrong you could miss out but never know!

So I received a call today from LACC that I qualified for their lotto. :) next time they will call me if I get in but they didn't know when.:( I am finishing up sending lavc my transcripts. I am gonna try to make an appointment next week. Hopefully everything is turned in by the time I call.

Quick update, coc should be emailing everyone soon because I received an email inviting me to take their remediation plan. I have to take 3 classses and pass them with a B or higher.

I wonder if I will have to do a remediation for each school ?
