Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) - ADN Fall 2024

Hi Everyone!

I was accepted to LA Pierce College on April 19, 2024. I am unsure if a group has been formed, but wanted to know if others were accepted. 😊 Super excited!

I called the nursing office and they informed me that orientation should be in August. 😀

has anyone heard back from them this week? haven't received anything on my end. I'm so anxious I'm practically checking my email by the hour.

Okay so I just found out that orientation is in August for 3 full days (8 hours).  For the first month, the lecture classes are Mon and Wed. Skills/Clinicals are Thur and Fri. Tuesdays are off.

Anne, you are so wonderful! Thank you so much for finding this info out. By any chance did that specify hours to you? Like thurs and Friday hours? I currently have a 40 hour job and am wondering how much I would need to cut back.

Me too LOL. I called them yesterday and I was told they sent the first round of acceptance letters and are waiting for them to accept or reject...

Haven't heard anything since the deadline to accept 04/24. Orientation in August but hoping for more info sooner!

I am not sure what the hours are but I was told Monday and Wednesday are usually 7-3

Mon and Wed class times can be seen by checking the schedule of classes online or doing a search for them through the manage classes portal. Lapc website shows the names of these classes and I attached them. Thurs Fri are clinical/lab and likely 8 hours. The first semester is 15 units and a total of 20 hours. How you can work around the schedule which will change will be the most difficult aspect in my opinion. Look the classes up in the schedule of classes it sheds a bit more light.

Sorry the first class was missing the 20 at bottom represents total hours and column all the way right is units.
