Hi there! I just wanted to start this forum for any students who may have applied to Los Angeles Harbor College (LAHC) fall 2024 cohort.  

I haven't received anything yet :( This is my second time applying

Aw, someone received their denied email. I wonder if they are sending the denied letters first. My total application score with my TEAS test is 55, so I'm probably with the lottery candidates. Has anyone received theirs yet? Also, what are your scores?

I received an offer as an alternate

Accepted! I believe I had 61/75 points on their criteria.

congrats to those who got in & don't be discouraged if you didn't! it's very competitive. I was initially selected as an alternate for Spring 2024 & they called me a few weeks after and offered me a spot - so stay positive!

im now a first semester student at LAHC and I love it!! let me know if you guys have any questions 🙂

Never give up. Keep applying to all schools around you 🤞🏽

We can't give up! We will all get into the program we are meant to be in when we are meant to be in it! Wishing everyone the best of luck going forward! 

Did anyone here apply to El Camino as well? I haven't heard anything from them yet.

@nursetobesouthbay Don't give up.  For anyone interested, Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing, West Covina enrollment is officially open for the Fall semester. I got that text yesterday.  They will be holding a special RN info session Thursday, 5/2 at 12pm (in person). APU, WCU are some other avenues to consider.  I will not be attending LAHC as I accepted MSMU and that will open up a spot for someone.  Good luck and please don't give up.

Thank you for encouraging me and providing me with other options. Honestly, it is tiring to receive rejection after rejection. I heard LAHC is a wonderful nursing school and highly ranked. I guess this is IT for me. Life is not worth it.

Don't loose hope. I also was rejected too but I understand that this rejection doesn't define me. It's a small setback in my journey of life. Stay positive and everything will workout! Congrats to those who got in !
