Los Angeles Harbor College (LAHC) ADN Spring 2023

Published

Hi all,

I wanted to start this forum since I did not see one yet for the Los Angeles Harbor College ADN program for Spring 2023 so that we can keep each other updated through the application process/selection.

Their application period open last week. I dropped off my application already.  This will be my 2nd time applying and I am crossing my fingers that I am selected on this next round.

Good luck everyone!

I’m one of the alternates!
Congrats everyone who got accepted! Here’s to hoping a few people say yes elsewhere so some of us alternates can get in ?

Congratulations to all of you who got accepted!?

Will some of you who got accepted let us know how many points did you have and what your TEAS score was so that us who will continue to apply can get an idea of what they're looking for?

Got accepted too! Congrats everyone!

I think selection is 50% lottery and 50% points based.

I calculated about 47 points and 90% on TEAS

Does anyone know any nursing student in this program? Just trying to see to get an idea of how our schedule is going to be like.

For those who got accepted: what’s the date you need to email a yes or no to taking a spot to the nursing department?

Yes, we have to accept by December 1, at 4pm.

I got 3.89 GPA and 92.7 in TEAS not sure with my total points because this is my first time to apply and first school where I applied because when I turned in my application I didn’t count my total points as I was procrastinating to beat the deadline LOL?

I’ll ask my cousin since she’s in the program already. Will let you know ?

Does anyone know how many alternates they take? And I’m also not too sure how they select the alternates if a spot does open up since we don’t have a number LOL.

I believe they have 20 alternate positions (if it’s like any of the other nursing programs).
My guess is we do have a number but it just wasn’t given to us.
Once the deadline passes for those who were given a spot to respond yes or no and the alternates take positions from the no’s I’m going to email December 5th and ask what spot I am.

I don't remember the points I had, but I have 2 A's and a B on the sciences, and 92.0% on the TEAS, and all prerequisites completed. ?
