Hi there,

Has anyone applied to LAC School of Nursing for Fall 2019? I thought I would get this post going so we can stay informed and help each other through this waiting process! What are your points that you calculated?

To all those whom did not make it...

I completely understand the disappointment and sadness.

I applied to 14 schools and got rejected by all of them except for this one! So I get it...West Coast is my worst nightmare and I feel bad for those who have to face that debt...but you will be great nurses regardless in the end.

Does anyone know when we are informed to proceed with the background check, etc...at the pre-registration date on June 7?

I am sending in the questionnaire and TEAS consent form tonight along with my acceptance of their offer.

Do I need to resend my TEAS score?

...or do anything besides send this in and show up on June 7?

Does anybody know when about the program will officially begin?

I think they are going to tell us all of that on June 7th.

We have to do orientation starting August 5th & officially start August 12th! See you on the 7th ❤️

Did anyone get accepted with 79 points before the interview ? Do you think there’s still a chance at being an alternate ?

Anybody know of a room for rent that’s about 4-500/monthly that is not infested with bugs? The hostels I’m finding online look a bit sketchy and I can’t afford anything else. I’m just looking for a place to rent 4-5 nights/week then I’ll be driving back home to SFV 2-3 nights a week. Just looking to avoid traffic during the majority of school.
