Los Angeles County Nursing Allied Health FALL 2020

Did anyone else submit an application for Fall 2020? I wanted to get a thread going for those of us who have applied.

so it ACEN my fault. But it an Accreditation the school applies for so there nursing can work anywhere like a county hospital.

"The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) ACEN accredits programs at the associate, diploma, baccalaureate, and graduate levels."

There another accreditation CCNE but that's for BSN programs.

Hopefully, we are all going to continue to get our BSN

No I have not. I was wondering about that too. I’m assuming they won’t send out the email until June since our pre-registration takes place then too.

I emailed them and asked how long does it take to set appointment after you have did the online registration and turned it. she replied she doesn't haven't a time line and when HR approves it they will let her know and then she will send us the info on how to schedule

I agree. I think they will let us know at the pre-registration meeting in June.

Cool, as long as we're all on the same boat for waiting no need to worry ?

Any of you trying to get any preparation in before the program starts? I've seen it mentioned getting some practice in on drug dosage calculations is a good idea.

I was thinking about doing some preparation but I don’t know where to start. Has anyone submitted their pre-admission questionnaire yet?

The one that was sent along with our mailed acceptance letter. Not the live-scan application. I just finished filling mine out but I wanted to know how and when everyone else is going to send theirs in?

Ah, yeah I was wondering how we would email that exactly. It says you can submit it at check in but I think I'm going to ask for confirmation on that tomorrow.

I took drug dosage this semester at ELAC it was great class.
