Hi everyone! I just submitted my application to LACCONAH for the Spring 2024 cohort and thought I'd start a forum for us all here. If you have any questions or would like to share your stats, feel free to leave a comment.

My high school also told me it would take several weeks to process and send my transcripts (I graduated 10 years ago), but it took much less time. We only have a little over a week though so I would see if they can expedite the transcripts, like Winnie said. If not, just cross your fingers and send them anyway. Unfortunately though if they don't get in on time, you'll need to reapply for the next cycle because they don't accept high school diplomas as proof of completion.

I still haven't taken the TEAS yet (I'm waiting until the day before the application window closes) but I should have 91 points if I get above 75%.

Is your high school in LAUSD by any chance?

Did you receive your transcripts through your school or the district? I have to get mine through the district and they're telling me it'll take 20-30 business days. I really hope this isn't what holds my application back.

They told me the same, but it didn't take that long. I requested my transcripts from my school on June 16th, paid for them on June 22nd, and then they arrived at CONAH on June 29th.

Hello everyone,

   Im planning also to apply to the Spring 2024 cohort. I tried downloading the application and unable to retrieve on their website. Does anyone know where I can find or email me a copy? Also do we have to wait until the application period August 28- September 14 to apply? Im an LVN and applying to the bridge program. Any feesback much appreciated. TIA

Hi there! Unfortunately, the deadline to apply for Spring 2024 ended July 15th. However, according to LAC-CONAH's website, the LVN-RN program begins Summer 2024, and the application period is Nov. 1 - Dec. 1.

Oh im comfussed. Because on the website powerpoint its has the dates for Aug 28- sept 14. I spoke with counselor and was told to enroll in the lvn to RN transition course in the fall 2023 for entry into ADN program Spring 2024 if accepted. Not sure if maybe the July 15th deadline is for the generic ADN program and not bridge program.

Are you sure you're in the right thread for your program? The only PowerPoint for LAC-CONAH I've seen was during the info session in May, which was in-person. But, I'm also just applying to the generic ADN program so maybe I missed it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hope this helps! If not, I recommend calling their office to confirm application dates for your program. As far as I know, Spring and Fall cohorts are for generic programs and Summer is for the LVN-RN bridge.

Hi,

Looks like the LVN to RN bridge application date is 11/1-12/1/23. I will also be applying to the program. There are upcoming information sessions for October as well ?

Thanks, same to you! Don't sweat your score. It all depends on the application pool, but I think the cutoff is usually right around 85, so there's a good chance you'll get invited to interview. Fingers crossed for you!
