Los Angeles: Any Grads or Current Students from WGU pre-licensure program?

Published

Hello!

I recently applied to WGU pre-licensure program for BSN in the LA area. I would appreciate feedback from grads or current students.

Grads: How soon after licensure were you able to find a job? Was your job with one of the hospitals in your clinicals? Do you feel like potential employers were hesitant that you took a non-traditional program (online)?

Current Students: How well do you feel that WGU prepares you for the NCLEX? Being that this program is online, is help readily available if you need support with your classes?

thank you!

OP: You might want to use the 'search' feature (upper right hand corner of this page) to view one of the dozens of threads about this program.

I work in the program and can tell you that our NCLEX pass rate is above the national average and graduates have no problem at all securing employment.

Thank you for your response! I have searched the threads regarding this topic extensively but had trouble pinpointing responses from people in my area.

That is very helpful information. The cost and structure of the program really appeals to me but my main priority is being able to find a job after licensure.
