Looking for Venipuncture course in TN

Hi all,

I'm an LPN new to the US.. In Canada I took a Veni Certification course, but that was a few years ago, and I'd love to take another to refresh. I am in TN if anyone else is!

The course I took was 4 evenings and for people who were already health care workers. Does anything like this even exist? All I am finding are Phleb tech courses, and that's not what I'm looking for.

Try looking for courses under Pharmaceutical companies in your area. I took an IV certification class sponsored and taught by an RN employed by a pharmacy. 2 eight hour Saturdays and that was it. Some hospitals will only allow LPNs employed by them to take the course if they offer it. Good luck...:smokin:
